Wednesday's PM newsletter

Hello,

We discussed Syria last night - specifically whether arming the opposition would be a good idea. Today the news is that among the latest casualties in Homs, two people working to convey events there have been killed. You can read more here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-17124786

A man has been convicted of killing a heavily pregnant teenager: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-south-east-wales-17112380.

We'll debate what Occupy has achieved: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-17011324.

Michael Buchanan will have a report on regional pay. As the Australian Foreign Minister resigns, we'll hear from our correspondent there Phil Mercer.

There was a big response from listeners to our interview last night with Geoffrey, whose Leap for PM will involve trying to get on the bus to Swansea, have a nice bun while he's there, and then come back. We'll be in touch with him today to pass on the good wishes, and will of course feature some of them in Previously on PM this Friday.

See you at five.

Eric.
